17. Star Trek Into Darkness
Despite not being a Stark Trek fan – I’m still yet to see J.J. Abrams’ original 2009 reboot – the first teaser trailer for the sequel is definitely enough to make sure I’ll watch it before May.
Abrams is of course well known for his secrecy, and he’s been doing another great job at keeping Star Trek Into Darkness shrouded in mystery. Thankfully, this teaser does little to change that. Whilst the opening sixty seconds feel a bit too much like the teaser trailer for Man of Steel, with a similar feel to the voice-over, the visuals are undeniably awesome, and the explosive action gets immense after Benedict Cumberbatch enters the scene around the 1-minute mark.
I’m definitely going to have to see Star Trek early in the New Year.
