9. Now You See Me
This one’s going to be a lot of fun.
We have heists, we have magic, we have comedy, we have thrills, and we have one of the best ensemble casts in recent memory.
Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, and Mélanie Laurent. All in the space of less than two minutes.
Eisenberg has made a very successful career out of playing razor-sharp smart characters with more than a tinge of arrogance, and it looks like he’s got another huge success here as one of the leading quartet of the heist magicians.
I can’t wait to see if they show us how they make the Las Vegas-Paris trip in a matter of seconds.
“First rule of magic: Always be the smartest guy in the room.”
Hell yes.
