5. The Avengers
Whilst the below isn’t technically a ‘trailer’, as such, it is my favourite of all the things we saw in the marketing campaign for The Avengers, and at sixty seconds in length, is definitely worthy of its position here on this list.
The film’s Super Bowl extended TV spot features that brilliant line from Robert Downey, Jr.’s Tony Stark / Iron Man, “We have a Hulk,” following it up with five seconds of immense action of the Hulk himself.
Joss Whedon really set the bar with The Avengers, giving us one of the best films of the year, and the extended spot below was a great way for Marvel to give it an even more prominent spot on the radar by showing it off at one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
