7. Brotherhood of Evil Mutants

We were teased with the formation of Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants at the end of X-Men: First Class, and again at the conclusion of X-Men: Days of Future Past. While we will likely see them in X-Men: Apocalypse, there’s definitely room for this particular team to be explored further in their own movie.

This is what Sony are doing with the Sinister Six, and if that succeeds, studios might just see the benefits of movies focusing on teams of villains instead of heroes. However, the Brotherhood has a huge advantage due to the fact that Magneto and his disciples view themselves as heroes to the mutant cause, and if it were to focus on the relationship between the leader and his children (Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch), we would also have an interesting family dynamic which separates this from the rest. Of course, with Michael Fassbender as Magneto, he arguably deserves his own movie…
