1. Agent Venom
All of the previous suggestions could work on the big screen, but Agent Venom is in many ways the one with the greatest chance of success. When Peter Parker’s high school bully finally decides to change his ways and enlists in the Army, he loses his legs in combat while saving the life of a fellow soldier. When he returns to the states, the government offer him the chance to be able to walk again by bonding him with the Venom symbiote. He accepts, but constantly struggles to keep the alien suit under control, simultaneously battling his own personal demons as a recovering alcoholic. Sent on various missions and facing off against a number of foes, this is a Venom who truly is a hero, thereby making Flash Thompson the perfect choice to be put in the suit in the planned spin-off.
