2. Maximum Carnage
This storyline is rightly considered a classic, and it would be a great shame for some sort of version of it to not one day be brought to the big screen. Carnage escapes prison and goes on a killing spree through New York, leading Spider-Man to assemble a team of heroes. However, they’re torn between Venom’s desire to stop Carnage at all costs and Spider-Man’s refusal to allow his own hands to be bloodied. When Shriek – one of Carnage’s fellow inmates – uses her powers to turn people into blood thirsty killers, this leads to an epic battle between Venom and Carnage. Spidey would have to play a role in an adaptation of this, but Sony could save money by simply getting Andrew Garfield to provide voice over rather than appearing without the mask!
