A movie about a talking teddy bear sounds perfect for your kids, right? Well, not if it’s Ted…
This R-Rated comedy from the creator of Family Guy utilised state of the art motion capture to allow director Seth MacFarlane to perform alongside Mark Wahlberg while also serving as the movie’s director. Ted was a fantastic creation, and there wasn’t so much as a single scene in which he didn’t look completely real.
One particular highlight was the fight between Wahlberg’s character and Ted in a hotel room, and despite all the crass jokes, it’s to MacFarlane’s credit that it still somehow wasn’t at all hard to fall in love with him.
Sure, Ted sounds a little too much like Peter Griffin here and there, but that’s ultimately easy to forgive…
