Craig Fairbrass returns to our screens as Pat Tate once more, in the latest from the hugely popular film series Rise of the Footsoldier, with the latest entry ‘Retribution’ taking place in Ibiza.
In this interview, Fairbrass explains why the Footsoldier films have continued to evolve, how Pat Tate became the series’ leading man and why he wanted to bring more humanity and depth to the character. He also talks about filming in Ibiza, whether another Footsoldier film could happen and why he remains proud of the franchise’s phenomenal following.
Craig also confirms that work is beginning on Villain 2, looks back on playing a “madman” in Muscle and shares his incredible memories of working on Sylvester Stallone’s Cliffhanger. Plot
Pat Tate travels to Ibiza, Spain to seek revenge and track down criminals who murdered his friend. During his journey, Tate is caught in a deadly conflict involving arms traffickers, mercenaries and the CIA.
