The journey that has brought Coyote vs. Acme to the big screen has been one fraught with controversy. But it’s finally here, and aren’t we pleased that it is. And to mark this long-winded saga, we had the pleasure in speaking to two of the film’s leading stars, Will Forte and Lana Condor.

The duo reflected on the film’s long, chaotic road to release — and the emotional whiplash of nearly losing it altogether. Speaking candidly about playing opposite a tennis ball stand-in for their animated co-star, working with legendary puppeteer Dave Barclay, and the moment they thought the film would be shelved for good, the pair didn’t hold back on how personal this project became, with one admitting it has permanently changed how they choose what to work on next.
