1. Luther
There have only been a handful of episodes of Luther, but it’s still easily one of the best TV shows to come out of the UK in a very long time.
Series 3 wrapped things up pretty neatly, but there’s still plenty of room for the character’s story to continue on the big screen in the form of a prequel or sequel. The former seems a little unnecessary as series creator Neil Cross has already penned a novel dealing with the events which led up to how Luther began, so a follow-up of some sort might be the best approach.
Detective Chief Inspector John Luther has tackled a variety of twisted serial killers, and it’s not in the least bit difficult to imagine the team behind the series being able to think up one who is worthy of a feature length investigation. Just imagine something along the lines of Se7en. This is a movie which could appeal to fans and non-fans alike!
