5. Guardians Of The Galaxy: Legacy
If you want to know who to thank for the fact that we’re getting a Guardians of the Galaxy movie next year, look no further than Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. They’re the men who brought the team – Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Groot and Rocket Racoon – who will feature in James Gunn’s big screen adaptation together in the first place, making them the fan favourite characters they are today in the process. Gunn’s movie is clearly taking inspiration from these stories, and for anyone completely new to Marvel’s cosmic universe, this is the right place to start! The quirky and fun tone should appeal to all, and the stories get more and more epic as they go along.
