Avengers and Uncanny X-Men writer Brian Michael Bendis effectively reintroduces the characters to a modern audience with new costumes, but the familiar personalities which make Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket Raccoon such fan favourites. Much to the displeasure of some fans, Iron Man was made a member of this iteration of the team, something which will surely make the prospect of checking this title out all the more appealing to casual fans!
