Top Ten: Most Unlikely Romantic Movies Scenes

Love love love… It can be both wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time but it’s a topic that will no doubt be heavy on our hearts from now until the end of time. Cornetto have released four short films in their Cupidity in the embed below (or on their Facebook page here) showing their connection with the topic of love (see the embed below).  The films were shot in Hong Kong (Margot), Los Angeles (X Phobia), Istanbul (Beauty and the Geek) and London (Kismet Diner). We’ve teamed up with them to look at our very own top ten most unlikely romantic movie scenes. We’ve tried to think outside of the box a little here so please forgive us for some of the choices but all of them are close to our hearts.

No doubt you’ve got your very own romantic movie scenes which you love more than any so please make sure you let us know what they are in the comments section below and also make sure you let us know what you think of our choices.

So, without further ado, here’s our Top Ten most unlikely romantic movie scenes!

10) Shaun of the Dead: Climbing a Drainpipe and Heading to The Winchester

Like most people, we LOVE Edgar Wright’s first movie in the Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead. The film may focus mainly on Shaun getting to safety (or The Winchester) to save himself but really all he does is for the love of his other half Liz. They’ve gone through turmoil and Shaun has put his best frist Ed in front of her but he’s still set to impress wherever possible. He’s previously tried to climb a drain pipe to gain access to her flat and failed but this time, her life depends on it!

The relative safety of her flat then ends and he takes Liz and her friends on a mission to get to the Winchester but his purpose is honourable and the romance is evident…. if if not obvious for the most-part!
