2. The Winter Soldier
Of course, one of Alexander Pierce’s greatest weapons would prove to be Bucky, Captain America’s sidekick from WWII. As villains go, the brainwashed Winter Soldier didn’t have a lot to stay, but actor Sebastian Stan still made the most of his screen time (something which is vital considering the fact the character is set for a major role in Captain America 3 and actually takes over from Steve Rogers at one point in the comics).
Though he was great in action scenes which saw him attempt to kill Cap, Black Widow and The Falcon, the best moment for this bad guy for us came when we realised that there was still some of the old Bucky in there. He saved his best friend and seemingly set out on a path which will see him return to his heroic roots.
