1. Green Goblin
That’s right, the third villain from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has also made the cut! However, if you’ve seen the movie, that shouldn’t really come as too much of a surprise. Shoehorned in at the last minute, Harry Osborn became the Green Goblin in order to get a sample of Spider-Man’s blood…after he had injected himself with a serum that mutated him, making his quest largely pointless at that point.
Regardless of his motivations, Harry’s portrayal throughout the movie gave us no real reason to like or hate him, so when he did finally take Gwen Stacy’s life it meant very little. It was a moment saved by Andrew Garfield’s performance, but the impact of it was significantly reduced and Dane DeHaan could have ultimately been put to much better use as he attempted to laugh through a mouthful of fake teeth! What a waste…
