Yesterday we posted our first interview of two interviews with the talent from Orange is the New Black, the latest original series to come out of Netflix. You can watch Jason Biggs and Danielle Brooks discuss their roles on the new show, which based on the first six episodes) it’s probably the best show to debut on Netflix so far.

Based on the memoir of Piper Kerman, Orange is the New Black stars Taylor Schilling as Kerman stand-in Piper Chapman, a middle-class woman whose past catches up with her when she’s sent to federal prison for an offence she committed a decade earlier.

Today’s interview is with Taylor Schilling and Piper Kerman – the show’s lead character and her real-life counterpart. Kerman’s story is a fascinating one, and between them the pair discuss how the story has been translated to the screen and how they only met for the first time once filming had begun.

Enjoy the interview, in which you’ll also find out that the show has already been commissioned for a second series. Be sure to check out Orange is the New Black which is available on Netflix now.
