195 Piccadilly in London, otherwise known as BAFTA HQ, was the place to be this evening, as the UK Premiere of East of Eden brought Netflix’s sweeping new take on John Steinbeck’s towering 1952 novel to one of the capital’s most storied screening rooms. The limited series stars Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, Mike Faist, Hoon Lee, Tracy Letts, Ciarán Hinds, Martha Plimpton, Joseph Zada and Joe Anders; it was written by Zoe Kazan, and directed by Garth Davis and Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre.
East of Eden will be available on Netflix from 1st October 2026.
