The-Hangover-Part-III-PosterThe Wolfpack will be hitting the big screen once more this summer, bringing us their final outing to conclude the immensely successful comedy franchise with The Hangover Part III.

Todd Phillips is back behind the camera, reuniting Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis, for one last trip to finish off the trilogy.

Warner Bros. have done a great job of promoting the film in recent weeks, with the first teaser trailer recently followed by a more detailed full-length trailer this month. And with its release date fast approaching in just over a month, the studio have debuted the first official TV spot online. The first spot had leaked online earlier in the month, but was swiftly pulled from YouTube, and it’s now finally debuted in all its official glory.

The Hangover Part III is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

The leading trio are joined by another great cast of new and familiar faces, led by Ken Jeong, John Goodman, Justin Bartha, Heather Graham, Jamie Chung, Jeffrey Tambor, Sasha Barrese, Gillian Vigman, and Mike Epps.

Phillips is at the helm once more, directing from a script he co-wrote with Craig Mazin (The Hangover Part II).

They could have gone back to the formula once more for this final instalment, and I love that they didn’t. The first two films made a huge sum of money, and I think that the real key to earning an even stronger success next month will be that they’ve changed gears for the final film.

The Hangover Part III will be released on May 24th in the US and UK, which sees it going head-to-head with Fast and Furious 6 across the Atlantic. If you’re heading out to the cinema that weekend, be sure to choose wisely. And, by ‘wisely’, I do of course mean, ‘Go and see both films.’
