Ok, so we know that David Tennant is coming back and the we’re excited about seeing their Fez/Converse-wearing, Geronimo/Allons-y-spouting chemistry as much as everyone else, but is it too much to ask that Steven Moffat has a few more Time Lords up his sleeve?
A Christopher Ecclestone appearance would be priceless, especially as the actor seems to have distanced himself from the role since leaving the show, but this special episode needs to honour the classic series as well as the revived one, so seeing Sylvester McCoy, Peter Davison and/or Tom Baker too would basically pay off all the fans’ hopes and dreams.
