5. Just how many regenerations are left?
With so many writers spanning so many episodes and so much mythology to keep up with, Doctor Who has its fair share of confusion and continuity errors and this is a perfect time to clear some of these issues up. Chief among them being: how many more times can the Doctor regenerate?
Traditionally, he has always been capable of 12 regenerations, but then with the Time Lords gone, it has been suggested that he no longer has to abide by this rule. Throw in the fact that we have only recently found out about his previously unknown regeneration into John Hurt’s War Doctor AND Steven Moffat’s recent claim that everyone has miscounted, what’s the deal?
