9. Time War revelations
The Last Great Time War – it’s been hinted at throughout Doctor Who ever since the show was revived in 2005 and now it seems we might finally get to hear all about it.
We know that sometime before Christopher Ecclestone’s Ninth Doctor met a young Rose, a great conflict ensued between the Time Lords and the Daleks, with both species being completely destroyed… at the hands of the Doctor himself. But what possible circumstances could have led to the Doctor killing his own race? What kick-started the war in the first place? Did the Time Lords try to defend themselves with sonic screwdrivers?
