4. The Valeyard explained
While we’re on the subject of regenerations, this has been a source of much confusion. The villainous Valeyard appeared in The Trial of a Time Lord and was eventually revealed to be the Doctor himself, or rather “an amalgamation of the darker sides of the Doctor’s nature, from somewhere between his twelfth and final incarnation”.
This has led many to believe that this evil Doctor is the 13th incarnation of the Doctor, which, taking into account the War Doctor now, would be the upcoming Peter Capaldi. Basically we need a scene in the 50th anniversary where Steven Moffat draws us a diagram for this one.
