2. Col. Steve Trevor
When America learns of Wonder Woman’s existence, the US government tasks Colonel Steve Trevor with keeping an eye on her for them. The two first meet when he crashes his jet on Diana’s home island of Themyscira, and she pulls him from the wreckage, obviously saving his life in the process.
What makes their relationship an interesting one – especially after Trevor is given his new job by the President – is the fact that they’re in love, although he is left heartbroken and humiliated when she leaves him. Unfortunately, Trevor is forced to continue interacting with the Amazonian Princess when he is later made to serve as a liaison officer to the Justice League!
Needless to say, this would translate very well to the big screen, and Superman’s interactions with the government in Man of Steel could lead nicely to him being introduced to Trevor and Wonder Woman.
