London’s Leicester Square played host to the UK premiere of Jonathan Teplitzky’s latest film, the stirring true-life World War II drama The Railway Man, starring Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Jeremy Irvine.

The cast and crew were on hand this evening to talk up the film which was adapted from the autobiography by Eric Lomax who died last October at the age of 93.

This is not the first adaptation of the acclaimed material, John Hurt (recently seen in the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who) played the title role in a BBC adaptation entitled Prisoners in Time.

Colin Hart and Ben Mortimer were on the red carpet this evening and spoke to actors Colin Firth and Jeremy Irvine as well as the screenwriter and director.

We will be adding to the video interviews below through the evening. We begin with Mr. Colin Firth.
