4. Captain Marvel
The likes of Elektra and Catwoman severely damaged the chances of another female superhero getting their own movie. Even so, the possibility of seeing someone like Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel get their own movie is slim, although Warner Bros.’ rumoured plan for a Wonder Woman solo outing could be about to change all that.
There’s been a lot of talk about Black Widow getting a movie, but Carol Danvers is ultimately a much better choice. The former Air Force captain has a number of abilities, and her adventures are often great fun and even head off into outer space now and again. Captain Marvel is arguably one of their most interesting female superheroes, and though she may not have the most interesting of rogues galleries, there’s a lot of potential here for greatness.
