3. Electro (Jamie Foxx, The Amazing Spider-Man 2)
Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx is an inspired casting choice for the roe of Electro, especially as the villain has always been fairly one-dimensional in the comic books. Not only does choosing a star like Foxx add some serious weight to what could otherwise be a fairly bland role, but what we know about Max Dillion in the Marc Webb helmed sequel seems to indicate that we’re going to get a far more interesting version.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will apparently see the lonely and deluded Max under the impression that he’s Spider-Man’s sidekick, but it appears as if the realisation that he’s not pushes him over the edge when he gains powers will lead to the villain using his powers to get the “power” he’s been without his entire life.
