Russell Crowe stars as Noah, a man chosen by God for a great task before an apocalyptic flood destroys the world.
Jennifer Connelly reunites with Crowe here as the female lead, with the duo starring alongside Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Marton Csokas, Nick Nolte, and Dakota Goyo.
Aronofsky (Black Swan) directs from a script he co-wrote with past collaborator Ari Handel (The Fountain), with John Logan (Skyfall, Gladiator) hired for what looks to be uncredited script work.
