8. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage, X-Men: Days of Future Past)
Fans are extremely wary about Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Fox’s X-Men movies have never been very faithful to the comic books, and many of the images released from the “inbetweenquel” so far have done little to nothing to help put aside those fears.
Regardless, casting Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage as the creator of the Sentinels is a genius idea, especially as it arguably makes sense that a man of Trask’s stature in this movie world would see giant robots as the best solution for taking down the mutants. As if that wasn’t an interesting enough wrinkle to add to the character, casting an actor so utterly brilliant as Dinklage is a genius move on Singer’s part and if nothing else shows that he does have a great eye when it comes to casting.
