The War Dogs crashed London this evening for the premiere of Todd Phillips’ latest film.

In the interviews Scott Davies asks Jonah Hill what attracted him to the role, what it was like working with co-star Miles Teller, working with director Phillips (after his work on The Hangover movies) and Hill also updates us on his Maniac TV series he’s working on with Emma Stone and Cary Fukunaga as well as the current state of the Men in Black / 21 Jump Street cross-over.

Phillips fills us in on working on a dramatic comedy rather than a straight-out comedy like The Hangover and what it’s like working with his bestie Bradley Cooper as Producer.

Starring Jonah Hill and Miles Teller War Dogs tells the true story of small fish in a very big, Iraq War-sized pond. The film also stars Ana de Armas and Bradley Cooper and is out in UK cinemas on the 26th of August.

Scott Davis and Colin Hart were on the red carpet this evening – here’s how they got on.

Based on a true story, “War Dogs” follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami during the first Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts.

Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life.  But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.
