The Quiet Ones (Dir: John Pogue)
Hammer films (The Woman in Black, Let Me In) are due to release The Quiet Ones in April. A University professor assembles a team charged with creating a poltergeist, a series of experiments are conducted in an isolated farmhouse on a psychologically disturbed girl in hopes to find proof of the paranormal.
Pogue (Quarantine 2: The Terminal) lends much stylistically from The Conjuring and dabbles with the go-to move of found-footage but judging from what we’ve seen, this promises to be more than run-of-the-mill horror fare.
The Quiet Ones looks set to have cinemas around the UK anything but quiet April 10th.
