Killers (Dir: Kimo Stamboel & Timo Tjahjanto)
The Mo Brother’s return to take us on another psychologically horrifying journey, a Tokyo based serial killer spots potential in a world weary journalist when footage of the journalists acts of vigilantism on two barbaric criminal’s surfaces online.
While the journalist attempts to resume a normal life, the serial killer continues his wave of mass murder trying to convince him that he has a real flair for despatching victims.
Tonally close to I Saw the Devil, and if it’s anything close to Timo Tjahjanto’s V/H/S 2 segment “Safe Haven” we are surely to expect a film with real visual flair and the blackest of hearts.
