HBO has dropped a new trailer for the next season of ‘The New Pope’ which sees John Malkovich taking over at the Vatican and quickly making his mark.
The eight-episode series will see Malkovich’s Pope, John Paul III, rise to power and want to keep traditions but Jude Law’s Pius XIII has awoken from his coma and wants the powerful position back.
Written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino, the new series see’s Law return. Sharon Stone and Marilyn Manson also join the cast.
