Disney+ has launched the first trailer for the ‘Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte’.
Set around fifty years before the events of ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’ and towards the end of the High Republic era, the live-action series follows a former Jedi Padawan and her one-time Master.
An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-Jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems.
Coming from creator Leslye Headland, the eight-episode series also stars Joonas Suotamo, Jodie Turner-Smith, Manny Jacinto, Carrie-Anne Moss, Dean-Charles Chapman, Margarita Levieva, Charlie Barnett and Rebecca Henderson
