Paramount Pictures has unveiled a stunning collection of first-look images from ‘Children of Blood and Bone,’ offering fans their first glimpse at the highly anticipated fantasy epic arriving in cinemas and IMAX in January 2027.
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and based on Tomi Adeyemi’s internationally bestselling novel, ‘Children of Blood and Bone’ transports audiences to the magical world of Orïsha, where a young woman embarks on a dangerous mission to restore the magic that was violently stolen from her people.

The story follows her and her brother as they form an unlikely alliance with the king’s daughter and son, setting them on a perilous journey to challenge a ruthless monarchy and ignite a rebellion that could change the fate of their world forever.
The adaptation boasts one of the most impressive ensemble casts in recent memory. Leading the film are Thuso Mbedu, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg and Tosin Cole, alongside Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Zackary Momoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Regina King, Idris Elba and Viola Davis.
