Four Lions is the new comedy feature film by Chris Morris. We’ve previously posted the the poster for the film and also a clip, but today you can see the full trailer embedded below.
The film is about a group of inept British jihadists and their attempts to go down in history for an act of terror. Anyone familiar with Morris’ previous work, including The Day Today and Brass Eye, will be familiar with his particular strain of biting satire that will undoubtedly make this a really great film. It also appears from the trailer and early reviews that this film has some great slapstick and the group of jihadists are more like The Three Stooges than a group of intimidating terrorists.
I’m really looking forward to Four Lions as it looks really hilarious and intelligent and I am sure it will provoke some equally hilarious but not so intelligent criticisms from the right wing media.
