Last night we were on the red carpet for the Premiere of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle held in London’s Leicester Square. It is the next film in the series which began in 1995, and acts as both sequel, reboot and reimagining of the family adventure classic, which starred the late Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst.

It adapts the ideas and themes of the first film and sees four school students sucked into an old video game, who then have to fend off everything the wild jungle has to throw at them. And it’s a lot.

The film is written by Chris McKenna and directed by Jake Kasdan. It stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart. We spoke to all of these people at the premiere yesterday and you can see the interviews below.

The film is released on the 20th of December. Scott Davis and Colin Hart were on the red carpet for us last night, here are their interviews:

Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle Movie Synopsis

Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.
