As the Horror Channel FrightFest embarks on London today, we have an exclusive first look at the trailer for Freehold which has its premiere at the horror festival on Friday the 25th of August.

Dominic Bridges makes his directorial debut with a dark urban story of ‘jack the lad’ estate agent Hussein, high on his own vanity and low on morals, who gets a whole lot more than he bargained for from what mysteriously lurks behind his own front door. Freehold is written by written by Rae Brunton (the OUPOST franchise)

Freehold has a cast that includes Javier Botet (The Revenant, The Conjuring 2), Radio 1Xtra broadcaster Mim Shaikh, taking a leap from behind the radio mic to in front of the camera in his acting debut, as well as Black Mirror star Kola Bokinni and Mandeep Dhillon who was last seen as the hapless receptionist in 2016 hit David Brent: Life on the Road.

Freehold premieres at Frightfest on the 25th of August and will follow on Digital HD and DVD on October 9th 2017.

Freehold Official Synopsis

Orlan’s life is turned upside down when Hussein, a slick and sleazy estate agent, scuppers his plan to buy a home. While Hussein carries on as normal, oblivious to the trail of damage he has left behind him, Orlan decides to take revenge. However, his plan to get even with Hussein, and make his life as uncomfortable as possible, soon escalates out of control.

A roof above our heads is a basic human need so why are we all fighting each other over it?
