The Michael Bay produced and Jonathan Liebesman directed Ninja Turtles has been flying under the radar ever since inaccurate reports claimed that the quartet of turtles would be neither mutated or teenagers in the remake, with only a leaked bit of promo art and a few toy descriptions giving us any idea as to what we should expect.
Well, it now sounds as if we’ll be seeing a lot more of the movie in the very near future as Ninja Turtles producer Galen Walker posted the following on Facebook earlier today:
“Ok- Cool Beans folks! the new “Ninja Turtles” Teaser will make it’s debut in front of the New Captain America Film- April 4th. We are ready and prepared for lift off! Been a long haul.”
It seems like a safe bet that the trailer will be released on or around the same date, while a poster and the first batch of official stills can’t be too far away either. There are a lot of conflicting reports about Ninja Turtles, so it will be interesting to see whether or not the first footage will surprise or disappoint fans.
Starring Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn and William Fichtner, Ninja Turtles is set to be released on August 8th, 2014.
