On the 21st of April, the fifth instalment of the popular action series which began life a decade earlier with The Fast and the Furious, roars onto cinema screens under the imaginatively-titled Fast Five.
Before then, all you petrol heads out there can get a taste of what’s to come via this featurette (via Yahoo) where director Justin Lin and stars of the series chat about the ideas behind the forth sequel, which also see’s a new addition to the their world, in the shape of a shaven-headed and goateed Dwayne Johnson, who plays a hard-nosed cop determined to bring the fugitives to justice.
Everyone here it seems, is particularly excited about the showdown between Vin Diesel and artist formally known as The Rock.
This clash of the cinematic action titans (or battle of the baldies) should be enough to guarantee a healthy opening weekend for the film, but from the looks of it, thankfully, they haven’t scrimped on both the high explosion quota and thrilling car-racing escapades.
