Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Campus Drivers,’ its first French Young Adult Prime Original series, bringing a bestselling romance to the screen with a story of heartbreak, unexpected cohabitation and undeniable attraction.
Adapted from the bestselling novels by C.S. Quill, published by Hugo Publishing, the series stars Carmen Kassovitz (Stalk) and Baptiste Masseline (Mixte) as Lois and Lane. The books have sold nearly one million copies in France.
‘Campus Drivers’ follows Lois, who appears to have her future all mapped out. Accepted into the prestigious Belrose University alongside her lifelong love, Max, she seems to be heading towards the life she always wanted. But when heartbreak throws her plans into disarray, an unexpected encounter changes everything.
Enter Lane, the charismatic creator of Campus Drivers, the hottest app on campus. Known for his devastating smile and reluctance to commit, Lane lives life on his own terms. The pair’s worlds were never supposed to collide, but when Lois turns up on his doorstep heartbroken, the two find themselves sharing a home.
What begins as an unexpected living arrangement soon sparks an attraction neither can ignore. As their relationship develops, however, buried wounds threaten to complicate matters, proving that love rarely arrives when, or how, anyone expects it.
The series also stars Madior Fall (Love Me, Love Me), Esteban Vial (Lucky Luke), Felix Nebel (Les Saisons), Enzo Lorente (Mi Amor), Paolo Luka-Noé (Nouvelle Vague), Eloïse Rey (Surface), Louna Balavoine (The Man in the Hat) and Cassandra Cano (Tigres et Hyènes).
Created by Thomas Boullé (Erica), ‘Campus Drivers’ is written and directed by Tom Goris (Knokke Off: Jeunesse dorée) and Vianney Lebasque (Les Grands).
