If any character from The Big Bang Theory was going to get a spin-off series, Sheldon was without a doubt always the top of the pile. It was no surprise when that came in the form of Young Sheldon, a US comedy prequel to The Big Bang Theory about the gifted but eccentric nine-year-old Sheldon Cooper, who doesn’t find it easy growing up in East Texas.

With only seven episodes left to air of the 22 episode series which is narrated by “older” Sheldon, Jim Parsons;  the Young Sheldon (Iain Armitage) navigates his youth surrounded by Religion and American Football with an air of vulnerability and naivety. All whilst his very normal family have to find ways in which to deal with the gifted young man.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with the cast who play the Cooper family, including young Sheldon himself, Iain Armstrong, to have a chat about the show.

YOUNG SHELDON IS AVAILABLE ON BLU-RAY™ AND DVD FROM 3RD SEPTEMBER
