5. Shazam/Black Adam
Based on an awful lot of teases from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a Shazam movie is pretty much guaranteed to be part of Warner Bros.’ plans for their DC Comics characters. 15 year old Billy Batson is a troubled foster child who gains his powers when an ancient dying Wizard passes them onto him. All he needs to say is “Shazam!” and he’ll transform into a man as powerful as Superman.
It’s believed that The Rock will play both Shazam and the villainous Black Adam (who has similar powers, but is hundred of years old and has a twisted view of the world). Seeing the actor play a superpowered adult with the maturity of a teenager AND his villainous conterpart sounds crazy, but what a fun movie it could be…unless The Rock has us all fooled and is playing someone else of course!
