4. Green Arrow: Escape from Super Max
Green Arrow: Escape from Super Max was a movie which was in development way back in 2008 before being seemingly scrapped by Warner Bros. It’s a shame because the movie – which is not based on any particular run of comic books – sounds absolutely fascinating.
It would have seen Green Arrow framed for a murder he didn’t commit, and his quest to then escape from the high security prison he’s placed in. However, he would have faced off against a number of classic and instantly recognisable DC Comics villains along the way, including The Riddler, Lex Luthor and the Joker.
While there may be an Oliver Queen on television in Arrow, it has been confirmed that DC will keep their television and movie universes separate, so this could be resurrected…
