6. Nightwing
Rumour has it that Nightwing will have a starring role in Batman V Superman, and Adam Driver was apparently being courted for the part before he ended up choosing Star Wars Episode VII. As in some of the DC Comics stories, this former Robin will no longer be on speaking terms with Batman as he’s set off to become his own man as Nightwing.
Regardless of whether or not they’re pals again by the time the credits roll, giving this character his own movie could be a smart move. Just like Bucky eventually takes over as Captain America, Nigtwing becomes Batman and building him up in his own movie and allowing the actor they choose to take over when Ben Affleck decides he’s had enough opens up a lot of doors for Warner Bros. and their future DC Comics adaptations.
