Disney Pixar have just released two brand new posters for the third movie in their Cars franchise.

The first is the UK poster which sees lightning McQueen powering along his Nascar race track. The second sees him being flipped over taking us quickly back to the teaser trailer that was released for the movie last week.

Cars was originally released back in 2006 with Cars 2 following in 2007. Cars 3 is set for release 14th July in the UK and sees Owen Wilson back to voice everyone’s favourite race-car. Check out the posters below or click this way to see the teaser trailer that was released last week.

Brian Fee takes the helm in his first feature film. He’s previously worked in the animation and art departments for Pixar on the likes of Tarzan Cars, Cars 2, Wall-E and Monsters University so is no stranger to the ways in which Pixar do things. Personally, I cannot wait to see this one!

Cars 3 Plot:

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
