Anne Hathaway and Dave Bautista are set to star in an untitled action comedy for Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO.
The movie is inspired by an actual sting operation in which agents posed as a couple to infiltrate global criminal enterprises. It culminated in a staged wedding in New Jersey. When the crime bosses arrived to check in for their table assignments, they were arrested and taken away to avoid alerting the next suspect.
The story follows two mismatched undercover FBI agents with radically different styles who are forced to pretend to live together. Initially, they cannot stand each other, but by the end, they learn to respect one another as the case unfolds.

Jonathan Tropper will pen the script. Joe and Anthony Russo, alongside Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco and Tropper will produce the project.
Hathaway is also producing through her Somewhere Pictures banner and Bautista through his Dogbone Entertainment banner.
