8. Family Guy

We’re not going to get into the argument about whether or not the current Family Guy run is better or worse than the episodes which aired before it was cancelled a number of years ago, but whichever side of the fence you’re on, you can’t deny that it’s still incredibly entertaining.

The main reason it earns a place on this list though is because the season premiere of the animated TV series will feature a crossover with The Simpsons. A five minute preview shown at this year’s Comic-Con was met with a great deal of praise and plenty of in-jokes, including Peter Griffin pointing out that everyone in Springfield, “looks like they have hepatitis.”

Oh, and those brilliant fights Peter frequently has with the giant chicken? Well, get ready to see him battle Homer Simpson.
