The Wreck-it Ralph sequel is here, with Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet – the new animation from Disney to take on the world of video game, and now – the internet. Ralph (John C. Reilly), Fix-it Felix (Jack McBrayer) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) are joined by Wonder Woman Gal Gadot’s Shank, Taraji P. Henson’s Yesss, Jane Lynch’s Calhoun, Alan Tudyk’s Knowsmore and Alfred Molina’s Double Dan.

The world of wi-fi and the internet opens up a new playground for Ralph and his 8-bit pals. Mario, Sonic and all of the previous Disney Princess brigade are around for the next installment of Wreck-it Ralph’s ongoing mission. Here are the interviews from the London Premiere. The film was directed by Phil Johnston and Rich Moore.

Reilly talks about the story about a guy and a girl who are friends, and how rare that is these days and how they deal with the troubles of friendship as well as the good stuff. He also talks about working with Will Ferrell again on Holmes & Watson. Wonder Woman Gal Gadot talked about being out of the Superhero costume. She also talks about the problems of the internet. Sarah Silverman talks about the exciting experience of reuniting with the cast and the team.

The directors talk about working on this sequel for three and a half years, around Zootopia (Zootropolis), they also talked about a few ideas which didn’t make it into the finished film – a CIA type Anti-Virus agent, and a virus prison imagined like a Brutalist Death Star. They talk about another sequel, which hasn’t been written off despite the fact that they both consider the story to be a two-chapter story.

Scott Davis and Colin Hart were on the red carpet and conducted these interviews.

The film hits US cinemas November 21st, 2018 and in the UK on the 30th of November, 2018.
