We finally have the first look trailer at Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s TV series ‘What We Do in the Shadows’.
The series takes the format of a horror-comedy mockumentary following in the same footsteps of the 2014 feature. The 10 episode feature was created by Clement and will air of FX on March 27th.
In the series, the setting is Staten Island and the Vampires one and only aim is “total and complete domination of the New World.”
Kayvan Novak plays the role of group leader ‘Nandor the Relentless,’ along with Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch (as an energy vampire), and Beanie Feldstein.
The 2014 feature followed a group of Vampires in Wellington, it was written, directed by and starred Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. It was based on a 2005 short film—’What We Do In The Shadows: Interviews With Some Vampires’ which was Waititi’s first feature after ‘Boy’.
