Warm-Bodies-PosterJonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies is set to inject a healthy dose of life into the zombie genre in just a few weeks time, with its anticipated February release date fast approaching.

We were treated to a handful of new images before the end of the year, as well as the opening four minutes of the film. And now eOne have debuted the first TV spot as we get closer and closer to its arrival.

“When a highly unusual zombie rescues a girl from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts, their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead and maybe even the whole lifeless world.”

Rising young stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) and Teresa Palmer (Wish You Were Here) take the lead here, with great support coming in the form of the awesome Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich).

Levine (50/50, The Wackness) is directing from his own script, adapting the original novel by Isaac Marion. I’m a huge fan of Levine’s work, and can’t wait to see what he brings us next.

Warm Bodies will be hitting the US on 1st February, with its UK release date set for a week later on 8th February. For now, here’s thirty seconds of zombie goodness to get you in the mood.
